Under the hood of the Brazilian Rampage is a 2.0-liter I-4 diesel engine that produces 170 horsepower. However, if the Rampage comes to the United States, the engine would likely change. An American Rampage would probably provide Sanford, ME, drivers with the same Hurricane 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine as the Dodge Hornet. This engine produces 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
Will the Rampage Come to the United States?
While Ram has made no formal announcement about the future of the Rampage in the United States, there is a good chance that Rochester, NH, drivers will someday be able to drive one. The Brazilian automotive news site Auto Segredos reported that the Ram is working on a Rampage model to sell in the United States. While we don't yet know if this has been confirmed, it is reason for Ram truck enthusiasts to get excited.
