Ram joined the all-electric vehicle market by providing a glimpse into 1500 Revolution pickup. The American automotive maker reports that the performance specs of the truck coming to consumers in 2025 surpass those of its competitors.
Exceptional Power and Performance
Each 1500 REV coming to Portsmouth and Rochester, NH has a dual-motor configuration and propels the truck's standard all-wheel drive. A 168-kilowatt battery pack provides the power that enables the pickup to generate 654 horsepower and 620 pound-feet of torque. The prototype has enough power to accelerate from zero to 60 MPH in a mere 4.4 seconds and travel up to 350 miles on a full charge.
But the truck might also contain a larger 229-kilowatt battery pack that promises to propel the vehicle up to 500 miles on a full charge. Ram also hints that the truck quickly gains 110 miles of charging in approximately 10 minutes when utilizing the brand's special charging system.
In terms of towing and payload, the new 1500 REV reportedly exceeds the capabilities of other competitors currently on the market. The truck is expected to easily pull up to 14,000 pounds and carry up to 2,700 pounds.
Style and Trim Level Expectations
Each new 1500 REV coming to our Key Chrysler Dodge Ram of Portsmouth facility has a spacious, five-passenger crew cab and a five-foot, seven-inch bed. The bed features side storage compartments and a split, multi-function tailgate. In addition to a 15 cubic foot frunk providing more cargo room.
According to Ram, the 1500 REV will be available to consumers in the Sanford, ME and Dover area in four familiar trim levels in addition to the new Tungsten addition. The top-of-the-line option boasts a variety of luxurious features that include a leather/suede upholstered interior with heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats. Occupants have the convenience of keeping smartphones powered secondary to two wireless charging stations. The state-of-the-art infotainment system is also said to include a premium stereo with 23 speakers.
