Most people know that the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram lineup is full of powerful, competition models, but the proof is in the numbers, isn't it? The leader in customer reports and analytics, J.D. Power, conducts their Initial Quality Study to provide the data to back up claims from automakers, and the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram lineup is happy to report great success in this study.
What is the Initial Quality Study?
Each year, J.D. Power hots their IQS (Initial Quality Study) which takes the rank of all automakers to determine which has the largest percentage of customers with the least problems. In other words, for every 100 vehicles, how many issues happened within the first 90 days of ownership. The automakers with the least number of problems come out on top. In general, every automaker typically improves from year to year by a few percentage points.
See Where Ram, Jeep, and Dodge Placed
Ram landed first place in the competition with 32 other carmakers, and it's the first time a lineup solely consisting of trucks has won the top spot in the Initial Quality Study. We think you'll also love the fact that Dodge came in second place, just behind Ram. Finally, Jeep jumped three spots from last year, coming in eighth place. These are some serious wins for the lineup, and just show how capable and high-quality the lineup really is.
